Striding across my mind’s field
while sipping Burgundy Wine
put my evocation on the run
crumbling as the cigarette ashes
writing a soul anthem
for the people
to sing my history
But why you’re arraigning me
for writing a self remark
while the Rock ‘N’ Roll itself a self voicing?
